A Two Phase Integrated Fuzzy Decision-Making Framework for Green Supplier Selection in the Coffee Bean Supply Chain

In Vietnam, as more and organizations are moving toward globalization, green supplier selection (GSS) has emerged a strategic approach in supply chain management that requires practices lessening the environmental risks to society. Based on both conventional criteria, this paper aims evaluate set of suppliers by establishing multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM)-based framework using an integrated fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP) with VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) method. Initially, five GSS criteria aspect (wastewater treatment, solid waste generation, energy consumption, air pollution, corporate social responsibility) (quality, cost, delivery, technology) identified from literature consulting field experts employ MCDM approach. The trustworthiness proposed is presented discussing case study coffee bean Vietnam. FAHP used generate weights which theory applied translate linguistic evaluation statements experts, VIKOR rank alternatives against selected criteria. From findings, most important quantity discount, order fulfillment rate, logistics purchasing cost. A consistency test performed ensure uniformity expert’s input. best determined through final ranking model for study. work provides insight decision-makers helps determine significant aids minimization society arising sustainability standards.
